Circles Magazine is a lifestyle magazine that we believe inspires all people, with or without a disability, to explore their community and try new things. Based on the desire to interact with our community, and use skills that are not typically used by people with intellectual disabilities, Circles Magazine was born. Story ideas, photography, editing, sales, distribution, website design and management are all part of a day’s work for the Circles crew.
Author Gregory A. Kompes (MFA, MS Ed.)
has authored 14 books (contemporary fiction, poetry, and nonfiction), contributed to a dozen anthologies (including Chicken Soup for the Soul’s What I Learned from the Dog and The Joy of Christmas), and written hundreds of articles on a wide range of topics. Gregory teaches writing at Nevada State College, and, as Artist in Residence, teaches a popular fiction series (under a Nevada Arts Council/National Endowment for the Arts grant) for the James L. Gibson Library, Henderson, NV. Kompes.com.

College instructor will present her pre-Revolutionary War era historical fiction The Molly Weston Chronicles: Revolutionary Heart.
Author Paul Atreides
is a theatre critic and columnist for EatMoreArt!Vegas.com, and contributor to Desert Companion, a Nevada NPR/PBS publication. The World of Deadheads, Book 3, Nathan’s Clan of Deadheads, is the latest in the paranormal humor series. Current works in progress include Of Monsters and Men (working title), a novel about domestic violence, and “Sins of the Fathers,” a drama for the stage.
Author Stephen Murray
has been a partner in a small computer software business for thirty-six years. He will be presenting his three works of fiction: the award-winning Chapel of Eternal Love – Wedding Stories from Las Vegas, the critically acclaimed Return to the Chapel of Eternal Love – Wedding Stories from Las Vegas and Murder Aboard the Queen Elizabeth II.
Author Judy Salz
is a semi-retired physician. She draws on her years of medical practice, patient encounters, and life experiences for inspiration. Judy is a native New Yorker, but now lives in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her first short story Mikey, won the fiction contest at The Literary Nest, in April 2015. She has written numerous stories that have appeared in online magazines and journals. She is a member of the Las Vegas Master Singers – the chorus-in-residence of the Las Vegas Philharmonic. Judy is currently working on her second novel.
Author Amanda Skenandore
is a historical fiction author and infection control nurse. Her debut novel, Between Earth and Sky, was named Editor’s Choice in Historical Novels Review magazine.
Author Linda Stiles Fox
has six books available in Kindle addition ... Never Too Late, Reflections of the Heart, A Cabin in the Woods, Forever Again, Forever Begins and her Holiday book Santa's Little Secret. Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, Linda was raised in Peoria, Illinois. She currently lives in Las Vegas, Nevada with her husband, dog, 2 cats and numerous fish. Linda has been in treatment for Carcinoid Cancer for the past two and a half years, and promotes awareness for the rare disease.
Author Renee Jean
writes in multiple genres and speaks on the struggles of being a domestic violence survivor. She is the co-founder of the annual charity author event For The Love Of Books and is currently revamping her Rescue Me series to make a greater impact for shelter animals. Her Sharing Strength series due to be complete in 2019 will be a fundraising series aimed at raising money and awareness for those suffering from PTSD.
Professional daydreamer, creator of fantasy worlds, mother of a child who is ten times smarter than she will ever be. Tori writes in multiple genres, her Merlin’s Chosen YA series is currently six books, set to be nine when completed. And her Regulated duality is dystopian.
Author Fred Rayworth
found his passion for writing in 1995. He’s so far completed eleven full-length novels and is currently working on number twelve, in genres including science fiction, icky bug (horror), adventure/thriller and fantasy. He’s published multiple short stories and two full-length novels including his first fantasy novel, Meleena’s Adventures – Treasure Of The Umbrunna, and his current adventure thriller, Lusitania Gold. He uses his web site as a platform for writing advice with over two-hundred articles (so far) on the subject. He loves to teach and help other writers.

is an entrepreneur and has a passion for serving the community in a spiritual and physical way through outreach ministry.
